My Projects !

Miss Piggy and The Girl In the Trash Can

In my Senior Seminar class at Georgia College & State University, I spent the semester crafting a creative nonfiction short story that delves into the complexities of my first love and the challenges within a queer relationship. The story highlights the emotional and personal growth that comes from navigating love and identity in a queer context.

Love Don’t Co$t A Thing

In my Senior Capstone class, Literary Journal Design, I collaborated with a team of four to complete a semester-long project where we were responsible for creating, designing, and assembling our own literary journal from start to finish. The process involved curating content, formatting layouts, and overseeing the publication, allowing us to experience every aspect of journal production.

Beyond The Nursery Rhyme

In my Victorian Childhood class, the final project was a research paper exploring the theme of child mortality in Victorian literature. The paper focused on close readings of poems and stories discussed throughout the semester, analyzing how they reflected societal attitudes toward loss and grief. This research provided deeper insight into the era’s cultural perspectives on childhood and mortality.
